What first attracted you to SMG?
The importance placed on employee satisfaction and how SMG values talent over experience, offering a lot of entry level roles for graduates/people looking to start their career. There's also a big emphasis placed on progression and nurturing employees through each stage of their career which is exactly what I was looking for.
What's your favourite thing about SMG so far?
How welcoming and helpful everyone is - there's no set rules about what you should know or when you're expected to understand everything, so everyone's always on hand to offer support or advice where needed.
How would you describe the culture of SMG as a new starter?
It's very much a team effort, and that's something that's obvious from day one. You're always able to communicate back and forth with people and everyone is always so ready and able to help.
Which SMG value would you say is your favourite and why?
Stay Hungry is what I resonate with the most - I've been told to constantly ask questions, and continue to question everything, so at the moment I'm just continuing to learn and grow as I get more settled in the business.

I'm on the implementation & compliance side of Asda bookings for the Capture Complete team.
